I’m sure you are all wondering who Lauren is! Well, little Lauren (as we like to call her) is our amazing Summer intern! Some of you may remember her from our Instastories over the past couple of months. She’s seriously the cutest! What’s even more special is that it’s National Intern Day and it just so happens to be her last day with us.
When she contacted us for the position, we knew we had to work with her at some capacity. She sent in one of the most creative resumes and well spoken cover letters in the history of NEAT Method and she’s only a Junior in college! We made the decision to officially launch our first Internship program and quite frankly, we had no idea what to expect. We decided to hold the program in Chicago for the Summer where Lauren could work hand in hand with our co-founder, Ashley Murphy! The two of them spent everyday for the past 9 weeks together and our company could not be more greatful for this experience from such a career driven 21 year old woman!
Lauren’s main focus for the Summer was to learn all of the in’s and out’s of NEAT Method. Our history, our story, our trials and tribulations and what makes us unique in this now competitive market! To say that she was eager to learn was an understatment! With every day full of questions she quickly embraced being a part of our NEAT family! We can’t thank her enough for her candid feedback, love for our brand and desire to help us continue to grow in the industry!
So, for all of you Interns out there. Take a page out of Lauren’s book and be eager to learn, ask a million and ten questions and embrace the company as if you were going to run it one day! You never know what the future holds. As for Lauren’s future, she is officially taking over NEAT’s Social Media Marketing role and we could not be more excited. All though Senior year will keep her very busy, we are confident that this work/life balance will be the best experience as she navigates a future career path!
