NEAT Project :: Decorator Showcase

Friday, May 3, 2019

When you think of NEAT Method you probably imagine beautiful residential pantry or closet – but occasionally we get to work on a special project that requires an extra NEAT touch!

This month, our San Francisco organizer Ashley Polselli was invited to organize for the SF Decorator Showcase and we wanted to tell you all about it.

City :: San Francisco
Organizer :: Ashley Polselli
Project :: San Francisco Decorators Showcase
Designer :: Jaimie Belew
Photographer :: Michelle Drewes

What were you most excited about for this project?
NEAT San Francisco is excited to team up with interior designer Jaimie Belew to bring her vision to life. Inspired by Marie Antoinette’s French Beaux Arts Estate, Jaimie’s vision was to bring a modern element to the historic property. Modeled after the Petit Trianon in Versailles—the property is listed with the National Register of Historic Places.

What was the main goal for this space?The goal in the pantry is to showcase NEAT Method’s product and versatility.
What made this project different from a typical NEAT Space?
Well, it’s obviously staged. Not a typical family pantry. Form won over function for the purpose of a beautiful photo.

What is your favorite part of this project?
Creating a backstory for the fictional homeowner while staying true to Jaimie’s vision really challenged me and I enjoyed that.
Anything else you’d like us to know about this space/project?
The San Francisco Decorators Showcase is open now thru May 2019. If you live in the Bay Area it is well worth spending the afternoon visiting the Showcase and having lunch on Sacramento Street afterwards.

Thanks for telling us more about this special project!

xx,

The NEAT Girls
