New NEAT City | Bozeman

Friday, July 24, 2020

It’s that time again! Launch week. This week we are launching new franchise owners and new markets! Let’s dive in to see who our new additions are.

We want to welcome Christina Ryan of Bozeman, Montana. We are thrilled she’s a part of the team. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

CR :: When I say it’s my dream job, I mean it. I first heard about NEAT when I lived in San Francisco before we moved to Bozeman, but for as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for home design, including organizing and making spaces more beautiful. Even at my wedding 10 years ago, in my Dad’s speech, he mentioned my enthusiasm for organization. I am beyond thrilled to be the first person to launch NEAT in Montana and share what we do.

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?

CR :: I was in Sales and Client Success roles in the pharmaceutical and software  industry for 20 years. 10 years of which were with Johnson & Johnson.  Throughout my 20+ year corporate career, I have learned valuable leadership and customer service skills.

NM :: What makes your city unique?

CR :: Bozeman continues to rank as the fastest growing micropolitan city in the US (3 years running). It is a very scenic valley (they call it Big Sky Country for a reason) and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You can get anywhere in Bozeman in 15 minutes and it is also a short drive to Big Sky and Yellowstone National Park. We have unlimited access to outdoor recreation both in the summer and winter. Our small airport is surprisingly well-connected, no traffic jams and our coffee shops are filled with tech entrepreneurs… as well as a few actual cowboys.

NM :: How long have you lived in Bozeman?

CR :: Almost 7 years… and wow have we seen the growth here in that short amount of time!

NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?

CR :: For being somewhat of a small town, Bozeman is filled with the best boutiques, home goods and lifestyle stores. A new favorite shop I recommend is Salchicha, where I have purchased clean burning candles, stylish cloth napkins, and a few cute tops. It’s the perfect shop when you need to buy a gift or something special for yourself or your home. I have been a long time fan of Heyday our go-to home goods store, Meridian clothing boutique for the best selection of on trend women’s clothes and I could spend an entire day at Paper & Grace, a specialty stationery store.

NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.

CR :: Our most organized space right now is our daughter's closet and dresser drawers. I have found that having her clothes categorized by type with many items stored in easy to access bins, drawer dividers in her dresser, as well as a few helpful labels, has made it easier for her to find and pick out her clothes for the day. Having this system in place definitely saves us time and frustration for those busy mornings.

NM :: What about your least organized space? What the heck happened?

CR :: I would have to say that right now it’s our hallway closet. This closet is our least used space in our home, where we store our heavy coats, suitcases, large games, and a few clear bins with unused Legos. My organizing vision for this closet is to turn it into not only an organized coat closet, but to also create a gift wrapping station that I can easily access during Birthday and Holidays.

NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

CR :: Being the first person to launch NEAT in Montana is pretty exciting! I look forward to sharing my passion for organizing and bringing smiles to those who never thought their space could look so NEAT.

NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

CR :: Clients can expect integrity, creativity and professionalism. I can’t wait to show our clients how we can turn any space in their home into the most organized and functional space that works for their family.

NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?

CR :: I can juggle… literally. I can also whip up a really great Carbonara that my husband says is better than what we had in Italy.

That is amazing! We might have to see those juggling skills next NEAT Summit. Congratulations on joining NEAT, we’re so excited to have you!

xx
