New NEAT City | Chicago - Western Suburbs

Thursday, October 29, 2020

We want to welcome Kaitlyn Dane of Chicago-Western Suburbs, IL to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

KD :: I have been following NEAT Method for many years. It all started back in 2013 when I was not feeling fulfilled in my job.  A dream I have always had since I can remember was to own a home organization business. I have always loved taking a space that is a bit chaotic and transforming it into a picture perfect organized area. I bought some books on the industry and started searching the internet to see how I could go about making this dream a reality. That is when I came across NEAT Method and couldn’t believe it. NEAT sounded exactly like what I was trying to do. When I reached out I found out that they were not ready to expand. I continued to follow NEAT Method on social media and saw the continuous growth of their brand and company. I finally moved back to the North West Suburbs of Chicago and around that time NEAT Method posted on Instagram they were looking to expand in this area.  I jumped at the opportunity and applied immediately.  A very very very long story later here we are.

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?

KD :: I worked for a Recruitment Marketing Agency in sales.

NM :: What makes your city unique?

KD :: The North West Suburbs of Chicago is unique because its proximity to downtown offers a different vibe than normal suburban life.  There is always something to do no matter what interests a person has.

NM :: How long have you lived in your city?

KD :: I have lived in the NW Suburbs of Chicago majority of my life.  I moved away for a few years living first in Virginia Beach, VA and then Barcelona, Spain. After almost 4 years in Spain I was ready to return to my family and friends.  This area is HOME and I am back where I belong.

NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?

KD :: Geneva Commons- The Commons is an outdoor “mall” which can be a bit chilly in the winter, but nothing beats walking outside from store to store when the weather is beautiful.  They have tons of shops that I frequent and lots of great restaurants.

NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.

KD :: I don’t think my spices are the most organized space in my home, but I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and LOVE that I can see all my spices very easily.  Before the shelves were built this cabinet was very chaotic.

NM :: What about your least organized space? What the heck happened?

KD :: My boyfriend’s bathroom shelf.  I should take this shelf on and organize it, but I am not sure if I would win that battle.

NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

KD :: My clients can expect first-rate customer service.  Every client of mine can expect professionalism and zero judgement from me when entering their home.  I want my clients to know they are my number one priority and my goal is to organize a space that is not only functional but easy for them to maintain.

NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?

KD :: I don’t really have a hidden talent, but people have always been surprised that I can start a conversation with anyone.

What a great talent, we have loved chatting with you. Congratulations on launching Chicago-Western Suburbs! We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!

xx
