We want to welcome Lisa Hudak of Cleveland, OH to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
LH :: I have seen this city mature from the “mistake on the lake” to the thriving city it is today. I love my city and am proud to call it home, and I want to be a part of its growth. I am excited to offer this unique and transformational service to the Cleveland area, and show my fellow Clevelanders the value a NEAT life can bring to their homes and lifestyle!
NM :: What did you do before NEAT?
LH :: Prior to Neat I was the Senior Digital & Engagement Manager at a Consumer Packaged Goods company that manufactures DIY and professional products. I worked day to day in the digital space and have expertise in brand planning, strategy, creative concepting, influencer, social media, agency management, collaboration with sale teams, and was the face and expert for the company when it came to all things digital.
NM :: What makes your city unique?
LH :: Cleveland is the perfect mixture of Midwestern values and East coast energy and love of culture. You will find the city filled with hard working, fun loving people that are genuinely kind and unpretentious. Our culinary and art scene easily rivals those in a big city, but without the hard to get reservations. And last but certainly not least, Lake Erie and our park systems are beautifully maintained and provide relaxation and adventure to everyone from the extreme athletes to families alike.
NM :: How long have you lived in your city?
LH :: My entire life! I won’t tell you how many years that is though ;)
NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?
LH :: Crocker Park and Beachwood Place are my go tos for clothing, but I also love Wild Iris for furniture and homegoods, Blair Richy for beautiful handcrafted leather goods, Banyan Tree for clothing and gifts, and Revival Body Care in Lakewood for my serums. They have organic skin and body care products and offer clean beauty workshop which make for a fun girls night out.
NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.
LH :: I definitely think my kitchen organization is on point. It’s where we spend the bulk of our time, so it’s imperative we keep it organized. Here’s a snapshot of some of my drawers and cabinets and how I keep them neat.
NM :: What about your least organized space? What the heck happened?
LH :: Our mudroom closet needs some TLC. This space needs to house gear that’s not in seasonal use like rainboots, winter coats and gear, as well as some miscellaneous storage.
NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
LH :: Getting out and networking and meeting new faces in my beloved city. Also, I love the feeling of calm, a beautiful and functional space can bring a home. As folks spend more and more time at home, I am looking forward to helping people tame the chaos and overwhelm and bring order to their space.
NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
LH :: Most of the time figuring out where to start is the hardest part. Once you reach out to me, I take the pressure off and will make the process painless! When I work with clients they can expect a tried and true formula to get their spaces organized, and stay that way long term. I can also guarantee I will provide the utmost confidentiality, professionalism and we will have some fun along the way!
NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
LH :: I love to play DJ and am always mixing up a playlist to set the mood for parties and get togethers. I love hosting and making people feel at home and am known to start impromptu dance parties. I danced and cheered competitively in my younger years, it’s in my blood!
We are going to have to see these DJ skills at the next NEAT Summit! Congratulations on launching Cleveland! We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!
xx
