You might think a gathering of professional organizers would be all color-coded schedules and perfectly arranged swag bags (okay, there was a little of that), but this year’s summit was so much more.
In true NEAT fashion, we kicked off our time together by giving back. Everyone arrived with arms full of donations for Dress for Success - everything from handbags and shoes to professional clothing and unopened toiletries. Because what's better than 100+ organizers? 100+ organizers with a purpose.
The theme was "The NEAT Experience," which focused on diving deep into what makes our elevated approach special. Franchise Owners from Atlanta to Seattle traded their best tricks – like how to handle humidity in southern closets or create the perfect pantry systems for busy families. Seasoned pros shared their secrets for growing dream teams, while others discussed how collaboration across cities has led to some of our most impressive projects yet.
Some of the best moments happened when we least expected them – over morning coffee sharing inventory solutions, or during late-night brainstorms about corner cabinets. While beautiful systems might be our signature, it's our people who are the heart of NEAT – and watching those connections spark across cities and time zones showed just how special this community is.
Walking through the lobby on that last day, you could feel the excitement in the air – everyone's heads still spinning with new ideas and possibilities. That's what makes NEAT Method different. Sure, we're obsessed with organized spaces, but put us all together and something magical happens. We push each other to think bigger, dream up better solutions, and transform how organization impacts our clients’ lives.
And in case you were wondering, we did organize the name tags alphabetically. Old habits die hard.
