When goop's interior designer Ariel Okin reached out to our New York City owner Louisa Roberts to collaborate on the redesign of the brand's iconic Manhattan office, we jumped at the chance. Over 2.5 days, we transformed the industrial-chic space into a workspace as polished and purposeful as the brand itself. Take a look at the completed space where everything has a home, and style never comes at the expense of function.
City: New York City
Organizer: Louisa Roberts
Designer: Ariel Okin
Photographer: Graydon Herriott
Client: goop
Room: goop office in manhattan
Objective: goop‘s interior designer reached out to our NYC team to collaborate on the redesign of the company’s Manhattan office. She trusted us to organize the space to perfection, and we were thrilled to work with a blank slate that held so much potential for storage solutions. We seized the opportunity to partner with The Container Store to design elfa custom shelving for the space. It was important for the organization to be functional while also reflecting goop‘s brand and the designer’s vision of the space. Our team mapped out designated categories for each department, added organizing products and labels, and played off characteristics of the office when choosing our materials– bright, natural light, wood floors, and gold accents.
Client's favorite feature: goop‘s employees are so happy with less clutter. Everything has a home and is stored in stylish, yet functional way.
Stand out product: White washed rattan with gold bin clips. This product was just asking to be placed in this space! The simple basket fit with the decor seamlessly and fulfilled our organizing needs.
