We are THRILLED to announce that NEAT Method is officially international! This week we launch four new markets in Canada and we cannot wait for you to meet the new women joining the NEAT family. We’d love for you to meet Luisa Lauriola of NEAT Toronto. Let’s see what makes her a perfect fit for this job.
NM :: Welcome Luisa! We are so thrilled you’ve decided to launch NEAT Toronto. Tell us, what made you want to run NEAT in your city?
LL :: I want to run NEAT in my city, because I want the personal satisfaction and gratification that goes with it. I am passionate about keeping all things NEAT. My mission is to organize as many people as possible in this greatest city!
NM :: What makes Toronto so great?
LL :: This city is very unique! It has a vibrant creative community, it is multicultural and has great restaurants and sights to visit. We experience all 4 seasons to the fullest. Toronto alone, has a population of approximately 2.8 million, not including its surrounding areas.
NM :: Wow! How long have you lived there?
LL :: I was born and raised in Toronto.
NM :: No wonder you’re such a fan! So, what did you do before NEAT Method?
LL :: Graphic Design, Floral Design and Toy development
NM :: How cool!! You sound like a lot of fun. Speaking of fun… what are your favorite places to shop in your city?
LL :: There is more than one mall I enjoy shopping and visiting (Yorkdale, Bayview Village and Sherway). I enjoy a great Marshall’s and Homesense find. I also enjoy home furnishings stores like; Crate and Barrel, CB2 and Restoration Hardware (special note: my RH has a great Courtyard Café).
NM :: What about your favorite places to grab a bite to eat?
LL :: We love Terroni, Libretto, Buca, Satay on the Road, Oliver and Bonacini, Giulietta and Honest Weight to name a few.
NM :: Now that you’re a professional NEAT Organizer… we’d love to see the most tidy space in your home!
LL :: About 3 years ago we converted a large area in our basement into a family studio. The aim was to have four individual desk areas, along with a shared studio space. The following area is my bookshelf and movable desk caddy – Love it! Makes me happy when I see it.
NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
LL :: Without a doubt or hesitation – Meeting and building relationships with people.
NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
LL :: They can expect someone who is highly professional, personable and will give them a job well done. Someone who is creative, dedicated and reliable.
NM :: Any special talents you’d like to share with us?
LL :: I’m a good cook and I’m ambidextrous.
