Be Prepared for Guests It’s helpful to have 2-3 extra hangers in your closet for guests. Store them together at one end of the closet rod.

Limit Household Bins Consider designing one bin per member of your household to provide limits and prevent excess items from accumulating. Anything that doesn’t fit belongs in their bedroom closet.

Avoid Overfilling Closet A coat closet is an excellent place to store sports or hobby gear if you don’t have a garage or basement. We also love to store gift wrap there. However, only choose 1 or 2 extra categories beyond coats, so the closet doesn’t become overfilled.
