Yessss! It's Thursday (one day closer to Friday) and we couldn't be more excited to dedicate today's post to a few people we are currently (not-so-secretly) crushing on in The Windy City!
So, we don't normally brag about our clients or our jobs, but we couldn't let this one go by without spilling all the FUN! We had the privlege of helping the most adorable (and we mean ADORABLE!) couple get their new apartment and in-home office in perfectly NEAT condition! Not only was this a fab project to take on, but working for such positive, bubbly, and just genuinely thankful people made it all the more rewarding! Oh, and we should mention – the job did end with an added bonus of pizza and vino! They sure know how to pull at a NEAT girl's heartstrings.
Without further adieu, it is our pleasure to introduce you to Andy & Brett of Pine & Plastic – an amazing line of designer totes and pouches that offer a fresh take on everyday accessories!
However did we meet this charming duo, you ask? We owe it all to a friend of ours – Jay Michael! Talk about a guy we are proud to know.
Jay co-founded an amazing real estate project called FLATS Chicago. FLATS is a collection of lifestyle rental properties recently developed on Chicago's Northside, where Andy and Brett just moved in! If you haven't heard of it, take a peek at some of their recent locations. They are stylish, fresh, and reasonably priced!
One of Jay's strongest beliefs is that small spaces can still look beautiful, stylish and feel comfortable – we couldn't agree more! Here is just a taste of his style in the lobby of Andy and Brett's building! True perfection.
Now on to the FUN! So this is what we were working with:
Eeeeek! How was Andy ever going to be able to find his scissors, notions, chrome rivets, hook & eyes, paints, etc, etc, etc?? And how was Brett ever going to be able to get work done on the computer?? With a little — ok a lot 😉 — of organizing and implementation of labeled bins and jars, we were able to create the ultimate in-home designer studio.
