New NEAT City | Beverly Hills

Thursday, May 25, 2023

We want to welcome Caitlin Dickerson of Beverly Hills, California to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

CD :  Inviting ease into the lives of others has a ripple effect that can lead to many amazing things. Los Angeles is a dynamic community known for its dedication to create possibilities across many industries. Running NEAT in Los Angeles is a foundational stepping stone to unleash the creative potential of my clients and the lives they touch.

NM : What did you do before NEAT?

CD : I spent a decade in the health system focused on medical and community health education, and my favorite, health-related social needs policy work. To renew my zest for life, I exited the health system and briefly worked in a fine and rare wine cellar in Los Angeles before discovering NEAT.

NM : What makes your city unique?

CD : The people and culture! Los Angeles is my favorite place in America to live because of the wonderful people that call it home. The vibrant quilt of communities that weave Los Angeles together is an endless source of enjoyment.

NM : How long have you lived in your city?

CD : 8 years!

NM : What are your favorite places to eat and shop in your city?

CD : n/nakaLocanda Positano, and King Taco to eat and I love shopping Monsieur Marcel at The Farmer's Market.

NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

CD : Building trusting relationships with the people I serve in Los Angeles by cultivating joy through enhanced form and function. I am also excited to inspire a team of organizers to join me! In my heart of hearts, community connection and being in right relationship with people matters most.

NM : Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.

CD : My bedroom is the NEATest space in our apartment. Here you will see our bed and plant corner. The floor space is kept clear for the moments when I choose to hit the yoga mat before I go to bed. Since I spend so much time here, space keeping is a high priority. I strive to maintain an orderly and calm atmosphere to feel peace when I am in the room.

NM : What about your least organized space? What the heck happened?

CD : The built-in drawers under my bed are by far the least organized spaces in our apartment. They are a hodgepodge of assorted books, extra bedding, mementos, art supplies, and various kinds of seasonal clothing. Truthfully, these drawers are where I have shoved things that I haven’t sorted through to get them out of sight.

NM : We get it - it happens to the best of us! What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

CD : They can expect warm communication and excellent service execution. My aim is to not only exceed expectations but to witness the surprise and delight bloom across their faces when they experience their completed NEAT spaces.

Congratulations on launching Beverly Hills. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!

xx
