We want to welcome Nikol Benavides of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

NB ::  I am so excited to introduce the Chesapeake Bay Area to NEAT Method. People in this area are so warm and welcoming and I know they will love getting their homes organized. I want to share my passion of organizing with others as I know how life changing it is to have a neat and tidy home.

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?

NB :: I have been working in luxury hotels and hospitality for over 20 years and love providing excellent and personalized customer service.

NM :: What makes your city unique?

NB ::  The Chesapeake Bay is the largest estuary in the United States, which is where fresh water and salt water meet(brackish). There is so much to do here from sailing, shopping, dining out, farmers markets, playing at the beach and exploring in nature. You can even go hunting for fossilized shark teeth after hiking the Calvert Cliffs. There is truly something for everyone.

NM :: How long have you lived in your city?

NB :: I have lived in the DC metro area for 4 years and was lucky enough to discover the Chesapeake Bay Area three years ago. Loved it so much that I got married in North Beach and built a home in Chesapeake Beach.

NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?

NB :: Ketch 22 in North Beach is one of my favorite spots with amazing crab cakes and chicken wings to die for. Mama Lucia by the bay has delicious food, famous Smith Island cake and gorgeous views in the summer. Like any good beach town you have to stop by the local ice cream shop. The Cold Penguin in North Beach is the spot...make sure to try the Cappuccino crunch, it is amazing!

NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

NB ::  I am so excited to meet so many new people and help them get organized. The area is so beautiful and unique from farm houses to waterfront homes and everything in between. I know that each person, each job, each home and each project is going to be unique and that makes my job so much fun and challenging at the same time.

NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

NB :: People can expect top notch service and an eye for detail.  I will customize each job for the specific client, home and space. I believe that an organized home is the key to success in many things and I am a firm believer that everything has its place.

NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?

NB :: I love baking and my best recipe is my famous lemon bars. I’ve been told that even people who don’t like lemon, love my lemon bars.

Those lemon bars sound delicious! We can't wait to try them. Congratulations on launching Chesapeake Bay. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!

xx
