We want to welcome Jasmyn Copeland of Gainesville, Florida to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

JC :  Like most NEAT owners, I have always had a passion for creating order and systems. I love all spaces to be functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. This brings me peace. I love getting the opportunity to bring this peace to others and watch the ripple effects transpire.

NM : What did you do before NEAT?

JC : My most treasured role has been being a Mama to my three children. Professionally, I spent many years as an educator and then moved into the nonprofit sector to serve as a regional director.

NM : What makes your city unique?

JC : Many reference Gainesville, Florida as being home of the Florida Gators. The University of Florida provides tremendous opportunities for our county bringing in bright students from all across the world. Many choose to stay and find employment in sports related fields, educational opportunities, healthcare, and many other career paths. Once a Gator always a Gator!

NM : How long have you lived in your city?

JC : Over 25 years. I moved to Gainesville following highschool.

NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

JC : Getting the opportunity to work with new and old friends. Anytime “NEATING” is involved you have a transformation. Whether you are in a move, cleaning things up, or just beginning your next project, transformation is taking place. Transforming is our ability to make corrections and create change when needed. How special to get to observe this in and with others.

NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

JC : The goal is to always not only provide a positive service experience, but also be the catalyst of a positive change in general. The way we live is attached to our emotions. Whether you are starting from scratch or tidying an existing space, potential is on the horizon. The goal is for people to expect the start of this shift to set the tone for the new phase.

NM : What is your favorite organizing product?

JC : I love them all!! I like to consider the item(s) and determine the best way to utilize the space to meet the individuals needs while also making everything look aesthetically pleasing. From baskets to dividers to canisters, I love them all.

NM : Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?

JC : I’m not sure about any hidden talents :). I love learning, exercising, my husband, my children, our dogs, our extended family, my friends, God, the quiet, music, sleeping, coffee, good food, and a very chilled glass of wine.

Love it! Congratulations on launching Gainesville. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT.

xx,
the NEAT team
