New NEAT City | Northwest Arkansas

Thursday, January 13, 2022

We want to welcome Chelsea Whelan of Northwest Arkansas to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

CW ::  Northwest Arkansas is a growing area with many relocating here daily. I want to make that transition smooth and help make residents homes functionable and NEAT

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?

CW :: Prior to NEAT, I worked for a wine and spirits distributor in sales and portfolio management.

NM :: What makes your city unique?

JB :: My area is comprised of 4 medium cities all connected and of similar population along with many other smaller towns. You can travel between them all fairly quickly so residents refer to the area as NWA (Northwest Arkansas).

NM :: How long have you lived in your city?

CW :: 20 years!

NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?

CW :: This one is difficult for me! We have so many great restaurants and I love trying them all out! We do have a few places we frequent though…La Media Luna, Pattaya Thai, and Bocca Italian are all staples.

NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

CW :: I think I will really enjoy getting to meet so many people and feel like I’m making an impact for them.

NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.

CW :: The most organized space is my bathroom cabinet. Having everything categorized, labelled, and contained has been incredibly helpful in keeping everything in order day in and day out...plus it helps my husband find what he is looking for a little more quickly.

NM :: What about your least organized space? What the heck happened?

CW :: The least organized space is 2 utensil drawers in the kitchen. These drawers didn’t used to be this bad but boy are they lately! Our entire kitchen has small drawers (under 11” wide and less than 3” deep) so finding adequate organization has been a struggle. It is my next little project though!

NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

CW :: When I am hired, people can expect a detailed yet simple plan to make their days easier.

NM :: What is your favorite organizing product?

CW :: All of the bins & baskets! Seriously though, I love the Perforated baskets and the Oxford bins! Both make it easy to keep things categorized and contained…especially for my little ones to help with toy clean up.

We completely agree! Congratulations on launching Northwest Arkansas. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!

xx
