Our next NEAT girl to launch is Jessica Moynihan! She’s launching a market our followers have been requesting for a while now – Boston, Mass!
NM :: Welcome Jessica! What inspired you to launch NEAT Boston?
JM :: The city of Boston is known for its loyal, hardworking, and innovative community– whether we’re cheering on our favorite sports team, running the Boston Marathon, or contributing to ground breaking innovations in medicine or technology. I want to help my clients in the Boston community gain a little bit more time back, so they can spend their free time enjoying all that the city has to offer!
NM :: What makes your Boston so special?
JM :: Boston has the perfect blend– from a sports-crazed community, to the historic backdrops, state of the art medical district, and a burgeoning tech hub, we really have it all! Bostonians have the pleasure of enjoying all four seasons and the brutal winters only make us appreciate our perfect summer days that much more.
NM :: How long have you lived in Boston?
JM :: I’ve lived in Boston for almost a decade. I grew up 40 minutes south of Boston in Wrentham and attended college nearby in Rhode Island at Bryant University (Go Bulldogs!).
NM :: What did you do before you NEAT?
JM :: I spent 9 years working for various financial services firms, from client services to sales and marketing roles.
NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?
JM :: Crush Boutique in Beacon Hill, Covet in South Boston has some great finds, and Neatly Nested.
NM :: We certainly love the name of that last place! 😉 What are your favorite places to eat in Boston?
JM :: The possibilities are endless! During the summer, my go-to is a lobster roll and a cold glass of wine from either Neptune Oyster or Eventide. We also have great neighborhood staples close to home. My favorites would be Lincoln Tavern, Lucy’s, Yellow Door Taqueria, and Sweet Life.
NM :: As a NEAT girl, you must have an organized home – what’s your NEATest space?
JM :: My junk drawer is my favorite space! It gives me so much pleasure to know that it’s perfect after years of what it used to look like.
NM :: We love a good useful drawer! Would you mind showing us your least organized space and tell us what the heck happened?
JM :: My husband’s space. My husband… is what happened. I guess they’re right when they say opposites attract.
NM :: Too true!! What do you think your favorite part of running NEAT Boston is going to be?
JM :: Meeting new people and seeing their reactions after their space is complete. I’m also looking forward to building long-term relationships with clients and having the opportunity to watch them grow & learn the organizational skills that work for them.
NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
JM :: An empathetic, humble and judgement-free approach. Not everyone has the time or the organizational skills to get their home or business to a place they want it to be – that’s where we come in to help.
NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
JM :: Singing Mariah Carey at the top of my lungs, although I’m not sure that could be classified as a talent.
NM :: We’ll have to test that out at our next summit! 😉 What is your favorite product to use while organizing?
JM :: Actylic drawer organizers for bathroom storage. I am not a morning person, so getting ready in the morning must be super simple – I organize what I need into very specific drawers and basically don’t have to think about anything… especially before coffee, it’s not happening.
We are so excited that you’re launching Boston. We can’t wait to see how you make Beantown NEAT!
xx
