NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
AJ : After over a decade of being here, Las Vegas feels like home. When people think of Las Vegas their first thought is probably The Strip. However, there is a beautiful and diverse community here. It’s ever-changing, and it’s exciting to be a part of that and be able to give back.
JP : I’ve loved organizing with NEAT these past two years. The energy that a client radiates when you show them their newly NEAT space is contagious! When I run successful marketing campaigns for clients, it’s rewarding, but never as rewarding as seeing NEAT clients at the end of a project. I have been a successful business owner for over four years and would love to channel my business management energy into owning NEAT!
NM : What did you do before NEAT?
AJ : Before purchasing our market, I worked on our team for eight years. I started as an organizing assistant, and before I knew it, our market took off! We suddenly needed a social media manager, an inventory specialist, and a project manager. We had and continue to have an incredible team. Their support allowed me to take on those roles and my new role. It only felt right that this was the next step!
JP : I owned a marketing consulting business for five years. I helped brands lower acquisition costs by adding direct buys and programmatic ads to their marketing strategy.
NM : What makes your city unique?
AJ : Las Vegas has it all. It’s a city that never sleeps. Whether it’s a late-night bite to eat or an emergency outfit, something will always be open. If you want to hike, you can drive 30 minutes to Red Rock, Mount Charleston, or drive a bit further and hit Valley of Fire or Zion. If you want to go snowboarding Lee Canyon is right around the corner. We are lucky to have such a balanced mix of entertainment, outdoor activities, and city life. And not to mention, we also have some of the best food in the world.
JP : Las Vegas is obviously iconic! Summerlin is a huge HOA community in Las Vegas. It’s the suburb everyone wants to move to - the epitome of master-planned living. It is beautiful like California, but much cheaper. We have the Red Rock canyon national conservation area, which brings many outdoor enthusiasts. Summerlin has iconic residents like Celine Dion, Andre Agassi, and Floyd Mayweather, alongside a multitude of professional athletes from renowned teams like the Golden Knights, Raiders, and Aces.
NM : How long have you lived in your city?
AJ : 12 years!
JP : 4 years
NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
AJ : I think my favorite part will be getting to contribute to my community in an entirely different way than I have before.
JP : I think my favorite part will be helping people feel more calm and peace in their lives.
NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

JP : I love Weathertight totes. Vegas isn’t very humid but it does get windy and dusty. These totes keep out dirt and even bugs.
NM : Last question. Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
AJ : I recently taught myself how to play piano :)
JP : I can walk backwards without tripping, I used to give tours of my college campus!
