We want to welcome Allison Helligso of Omaha, Nebraska to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
AH :: It has been my desire for several years now to have a niche/luxury home organization business in Omaha, and being a part of the established NEAT Method family just makes sense!
NM :: What did you do before NEAT?
AH :: I owned and managed a successful home cleaning business! While we primarily focused on residential cleaning, we also did organization projects from time to time, and I fell in love with that whole process!
NM :: What makes your city unique?
AH :: Omaha is a great blend of Midwest and family oriented values, a diverse population, and a lot of culture and energy! From the biggest zoo in the nation, to hosting the College World Series, to lots of growing entertainment districts, Omaha has so much to do and offer and great people making it all work!
NM :: How long have you lived in your city?
AH :: I was born here, then moved around some growing up due to my dad being a pastor for a few years. But I have been back for over 30 years!
NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
AH :: I am a regular at Taxi’s, I also love Pitch, Blue, and Jams!
NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
AH :: Helping people bring functionality and peace to their lives by making their homes more enjoyable through organization!
NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
AH :: Professionalism, genuine and kind interactions, creative but sustainable ideas, and energy!
NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.
AH :: I recently moved from a house with a pretty large walk in closet, to a 2 bedroom apartment with decent sized closet space- but definitely not what I was used to. Getting my master closet organized and streamlined was important, to make good use of the space!
NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
AH :: It's not really hidden but I am a pretty good karaoke singer!
