NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
EB : Philadelphia is the best city in the world! The history, the culture, the people, the restaurant scene and the sports obsession make owning a business here a dream come true!
MB : As a Philadelphia girl born and bred, there is something about this city that sticks with you. It really is such a unique place to grow up, to live in and to raise kids in! It is the perfect combination of culture and history with GRIT.
NM : What did you do before NEAT?
EB : I worked in Human Resources for over 10 years, most recently as The Vice President of HR for a Medical Sales Company in Philadelphia. Since then, I have been working in residential real estate.
MB : I started my career in finance. I then decided to make a career pivot and went to NYU Stern for my MBA and went into marketing. I have worked in marketing now for over 10 years.
NM : What makes your city unique?
EB : What doesn’t make Philadelphia unique? We are a melting pot of different cultures and people that truly create the city of brotherly love. Philadelphia has all the benefits of living in a large city but also has that small town feel!
MB : Philadelphia is really a combination of opposites that make it so unique. Some of the best find dining restaurants in America but also combined with the best cheesesteaks! So much history in this city but with science and technological innovations popping up left and right! I can go on and on with this!
NM : How long have you lived in your city?
EB : I lived in Philadelphia (Graduate Hospital) for 4 years and lived in the Main Line (Bryn Mawr) for the past 3 years.
MB : I was born in and grew up in Center City Philadelphia. After business school, I returned back to my home town and have lived near Fitler Square for the last few years.
NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
EB : I can’t wait to get to know my neighbors! This business is about sales and organizing, but we can’t do any of that without the people. I look forward to getting to know clients and their families as we transform their spaces!
MB : I'm excited to bring the joy and peace that having a beautiful and functional home brings me to the people of Philadelphia.
NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
EB : Professionalism, honesty and transparency in all that we do and offer. We will treat every client as family.
MB : We know what it’s like to have a lot on our plates and we want to do something to make our clients’ lives better and more enjoyable!
NM : What is your favorite organizing product?
EB : The Acacia Drawer Dividers! I love how you can use these to make the largest or smallest drawers seem organized! My favorite way to use them is in the kitchen to create a kid friendly, snack heaven!
MB : I love the Grid Baskets! My entire pantry is filled with them!
