We want to welcome Kellie Winkler of Palo Alto, California to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
KW : I am super excited to run NEAT Palo Alto because I think there is incredible opportunity to run a successful business in this market in particular. I enjoy working in various capacities for families and in households, and I thrive on enhancing the lives of my clients. Venturing into the NEAT Method seems like a logical, beautiful next step for me.
NM : What did you do before NEAT?
KW : Before NEAT I was freelancing as a personal assistant, party planner & organizer. I have worked in a variety of assisting roles: executive assistant, personal assistant, family assistant, but really gravitate towards roles that allow me to be hands-on, creative and collaborative.
NM : What makes your city unique?
KW : Palo Alto is the heart of Silicon Valley and home to tech giants HQ’s. It is a highly desired place to live, raise a family and soak in the 300+ days of sunshine a year. Palo Alto is known for its innovative yet laid-back lifestyle, a world renowned university and medical center, and some of the most expensive zip codes in the country.
NM : How long have you lived in your city?
KW : I have been in the Bay Area for 11 years, mostly on the peninsula but spent a few years in SF too!
NM : What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
KW : If I’m being honest, our apartment! My fiancé is an incredible chef that makes eating at home hard to beat! A few of our local spots would be Vesta for their sausage and honey pizza (swoon), NOLA for a lively vibe & Evvia Estiatorio for special occasions.
NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
KW : I am really looking forward to collaborating and working with like-minded, driven and creative people, meaning the team I create, as well as the supportive group of other franchise owners and corporate support. Working as an assistant and solo organizer could be isolating and challenging at times, and I am so excited to be “Better Together”!
I am also looking forward to becoming better connected and hopefully an integral part of the Palo Alto community. My current reach here is small, but I am excited to spread my wings and to see who I can meet and how I can grow my business.
NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
KW : Clients can expect to have a positive and pleasant experience from start to finish. I am well aware that what I am providing is a luxury service, and I will strive to make sure the client sees the value in our work. They can expect a professional, well-versed team that is respectful of their home and belongings, and takes pride in their work to provide transformative and life-changing results.
NM : What is your favorite organizing product?
KW : I am really learning to love the drawer divider! It is so easy to use and can really transform a space with a minimal amount of effort. It is also so versatile in that you can use it in a kitchen drawer or pantry, but also have transformative results in the and a good file fold!
NM : Drawer Dividers are definitely a go-to around here. Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
KW : I am a bit of a DIY whiz! I love to tackle new projects and take on hobbies especially when it comes to organizing, party planning and entertaining. Pinterest is my best friend.
That's amazing! Congratulations on launching Palo Alto. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!
xx
