Organizer Spotlight: Sarah Gerber and Jen Rowe
Many of us struggle with overstuffed closets, and Vancouver client, Natalie Langston, was no exception. With her third child on the way, Natalie and her husband decided it was time to reorganize their primary bedroom.
This project was unique, involving a collaboration between NEAT Vancouver and NEAT Toronto. Organizers Sarah Gerber and Jen Rowe took on the challenge of transforming Natalie's Stor-X closet system into a more functional space.
They focused on optimizing the closet's layout and converting the top two dresser drawers into a changing station for late-night diaper changes. It wasn't easy fitting more into an already full closet, but the team leaned into their organizing experience and worked together to find a solution.
They started by rearranging items and adding extra shelves to make better use of vertical space. One tricky area was a section designed for handbags that was larger than Natalie needed. They made the decision to repurpose it by stacking sweaters between the built-in dividers instead.
The most impactful change was swapping bulky wooden hangers for streamlined NEAT Method Everyday Hangers. This simple switch created significantly more hanging space.
Natalie and her husband were thrilled with the results, particularly the drawer dividers. These organizers gave each item its own designated spot, making it easier to keep things tidy.
Whether you're in Toronto, Vancouver, or anywhere in Canada, professional organizers can help transform your cluttered spaces. With some creative thinking and the right tools, even the most challenging closets can become organized and functional.
