Space Lift: Back to School Closet

Thursday, August 9, 2018

We love showing finalized NEAT spaces on our Instagram feed, but what we love even more is telling the stories of how our clients are living more effiiciently in their newly organized spaces.

Take a look at this back to school supply closet and see what makes it so NEAT!

City :: St. Louis

Organizer :: Nicole Loiterstein

Room :: Craft Supply Closet

Hours to complete :: 12 hours

Objective :: A local school had 13 craft & art supply cabinets chocked full of everything from science experiments to fabric paint and everything (and we mean EVERYTHING) in between. It was important to make sure the space was NEAT and useful for everyone at the school!

Client’s favorite feature :: The teachers loved rediscovering previously buried items. Our client also loved the small shopping list we made that included the few items that were either running low, past their prime or needed to be replaced. She also appreciated the suggestions for maintaining the space including a daily reset by the classroom teachers, and having photos of the completed spaces mounted on the side of each of the cabinets. Within hours of us leaving, she had already put both ideas into play.

Stand out product :: What made this space not only beautiful, but also functional, was decanting the items into clear storage bins in a variety of sizes. The old mis-matched containers were given to the teachers to use in their classrooms – yay for upcycling!

Do you swoon over craft supplies as much as we do?!
