New NEAT City | Cedar Rapids

Thursday, October 21, 2021

We want to welcome Katie Hadjis Gorman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

KG ::  I feel the NEAT Method way of organizing appeals to so many people desiring beautifully organized spaces in their home. I look forward to our team creating those spaces that fit their needs, personality and desires for their home.

NM :: What did you do before NEAT?

KG :: Prior to NEAT Method, I spent many years managing a family owned restaurant and gained an entrepreneurial spirit through that experience. In addition, I was a Director of Marketing for Washington Prime Group responsible for marketing and event planning.

NM :: What makes your city unique?

KG :: Cedar Rapids, Iowa is the second largest city in Iowa. The area has a few good school districts and it’s a great place to raise a family. There is an emerging scene of locally owned restaurants and shops growing by the year. It’s small enough to easily navigate through town, but close enough to get away to some of the great communities of Iowa City, Bettendorf and Davenport.

NM :: Sounds perfect! How long have you lived in your city?

KG :: 38 years

NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?

KG :: Black Sheep, Local Pour, Caucho

NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

KG :: Connecting with people in my community and providing a service that will instantly improve the way they go about their day to day life.

NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

KG :: I will meet with them to determine their organizational needs, and learn more about them to create the most efficient system for their home and family. From that point, I will suggest solutions to the space the client would like organized and go over the different organizer products that will help create the space.

NM :: What is your favorite organizing product?

KG ::  I like to use labeled clear containers in pantries, kitchens, and bathrooms especially, so the client can see the contents. The containers allow you to refill, clean and keep like items together more easily.

We completely agree! Congratulations on launching Cedar Rapids. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!

xx
