It’s that time again! Launch week. This week we are launching new franchise owners and new markets! Let’s dive in to see who our new additions are.
We want to welcome Lauren Hanson of Jacksonville. We are thrilled she’s a part of the team. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
LH :: One night, after a VERY long 12 hour shift, I was sitting on my couch and I thought to myself- “If I could do anything, what would my dream job be?” I immediately responded with “Professional organizer!” I started doing some research and I came across NEAT Method and applied to become a franchise owner THAT night. I love everything NEAT stands for and how the company is run by strong, intelligent, women. I am truly passionate about making peoples lives a little less stressful and more efficient through organizing.
NM :: What did you do before NEAT?
BV :: I was a dental hygienist!
NM :: What makes your city unique?
LH :: Jacksonville is unique because it is a melting pot for all kinds of people! Most people who live in Jax are transplants- very few were born and raised here- which I love because you meet so many different people from all over the place!
NM :: How long have you lived in your city?
LH :: 18 years!
NM :: What are your favorite places to shop in your city?
LH :: The Jacksonville Town Center has the most options when it comes to shopping but there are definitely some cute boutiques around town. Some of my favorites are Tenley Dietrich, Wolfgang, and Generation Us.
NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
LH :: Ohhhh man there are so many yummy restaurants in and around Jax – Taverna and Hightide Burrito in San Marco, Sushiko and Biscottis in Avondale, TacoLu in Jax Beach, Palm Valley Fish Camp in Ponte Vedra, Harry’s Seafood and The Floridian in St. Augustine. I could go on and on…
NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.
LH :: My pantry! Closet organization is a big deal to me in my home because we live in a little historic house that was built in the 50’s, it has a ton of charm but little to no storage space. The pantry is my most resent “closet” project and I love how it turned out!
NM :: Show us a picture of your least organized space and tell us what the heck happened.
LH :: Ughhhhh, do I have to!? I call this my “catch all closet”. It has everything from old text books to wrapping paper and holiday decor, oh and some tools that should probably be out in the garage – it is definitely a mess and the next closet I plan to tackle! I strategically place a bench in front of the door so no one can sneak a peek at this nightmare… Stay tuned for the before and after photos 😉
NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
LH :: Getting to meet awesome people in my city and then transforming their spaces!
NM :: What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
LH :: Every space is unique, each one presents with a new exciting opportunity to make it the best it can possibly be. I will respect your space like it is my own while creating a customized solution tailored to you and your needs. Every client can expect a professional, judgment free approach and a thorough appreciation for the investment they are making.
NM :: Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
LH :: I’m actually super handy! I am constantly trying to teach myself how to fix little things around the house.
Congratulations! We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!
xx
