We want to welcome Lindsay Plum of Katy, Texas to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
LP : I have always been a lover of organization. I worked as an Organizer for NEAT for over a year before becoming an Owner. I know first hand the peace an organized space can bring to a client. The Katy area is growing quickly, and attracts families and professionals alike. Luxury home organizing is exactly what a city with such new growth needs, and I am so excited to provide that to the place I call home! 
NM : What did you do before NEAT?
LP : Before owning my own market, I worked for another NEAT market, in Houston. I loved my experience so much, I was inspired to open my own! Prior to that, I worked in the oil and gas industry as an Engineering Technician (a.k.a. Data Analyst). The attention to detail required in this industry truly prepared me for life as an Organizer.
NM : What makes your city unique?
LP : I love Katy because it is where “big city” meets “small town”. It is a major suburb of Houston, and has all the best things Houston has to offer: diversity, exceptional food, entertainment, shopping, and more. However, a short drive gets you out to the country, vast bluebonnet fields, and the historical Old Katy town square. In Katy, you know your neighbors, feel safe, and truly feel a sense of community and pride.
NM : How long have you lived in your city?
LP : was actually born in Katy, but moved away with my family at 8 years old. I’ve been back claiming the Greater Houston Area as my home for the last eleven years. When my husband and I decided to build a home, we knew Katy was the place for us, and we have now lived here for four years.
NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
LP : The clients! I love meeting and interacting with new people, and learning about all different walks of life. It is such an honor to help people find a calm in their chaos and help relieve stress. It is the best feeling when a client is excited by the end result of an organizing project. I can’t wait to bring my services to the people of Katy!
NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
LP : Professionalism, problem-solving, and attention to detail. I love getting to know each client and figuring out exactly what they need to efficiently manage their space. Typically, a little problem solving is required to meet needs, and my extreme attention to detail means no preference will be overlooked.
NM : Sounds like you're going to fit right in! What is your favorite organizing product?
LP : I love the NEAT Method Acacia Riser. It optimizes space on a shelf and can be used for cans, jars, and spices alike! Not only is it super functional, but the acacia material is gorgeous. Plus a well styled can riser can really elevate the look of a space. I have it in my own pantry!
NM : The Acacia Riser is definitely a fan favorite. Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
LP : I’m pretty good at cooking and baking! Although I don’t do complex recipes all the time, I enjoy making things to share with others.
