NM :: Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
SP :: Taking over an established and thriving NEAT franchise after being an employee has given me an insider's view on the client’s that are attracted to the Neat lifestyle. It is heartwarming to see how truly appreciative every client is of our services and leaves me feeling as though I have made a positive impact on someone's life at the end of every work day.
NM :: What did you do before NEAT?
SP :: I was a District Merchandiser for a corporate fashion retailer.
NM :: What makes your city unique?
SP :: It’s three rivers, it’s many bridges and it’s champion sports franchises to name a few. We were also home to some of pop culture's most iconic figures, Mr. Rogers and Andy Warhol. Moving here after growing up a California native I am amazed at how green the city is, the sense of community and affordable living!
NM :: What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
SP :: Lately I’ve been on an Asian food kick. My favorite local restaurant is Jade Grill in Mt. Lebanon. Their spicy sichuan wonton is to die for! There are also some amazing dumpling places in Squirrel Hill.
NM :: What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
SP :: Still being new to the city I love exploring new neighborhoods and boroughs. There are so many beautiful neighborhoods both in the city and countryside.
NM :: Show us a picture of your most organized space and tell us what it is.
SP :: My kitchen is and always has been my most organized space. Cooking is my happy place and keeping it tidy is part of the overall happiness I feel when doing it.
NM :: Bravo, it looks great! What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
SP :: Future clients can expect a high level of attention to detail. Having a visual merchandising background I approach most jobs with two things in mind; is it functional and is it visually appealing?
NM :: Last question. What is your favorite organizing product?
SP :: I love using products that can be used in any and all spaces throughout the home. NEAT’s Perforated Acacia Basket really elevates any space in the home and is an easy way to keep you organized without much fuss.
