We want to welcome Wendy Rossier of Jersey Shore, New Jersey to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.
NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
WR : A lover of all things organized, I have always wanted to own a business and have the freedom to pursue my passion of helping others create beautiful, functional & efficient luxury living spaces. On top of that, the housing market at the Jersey Shore has exploded in the last five years and has created a tremendous opportunity for me to share my talents with others!
NM : What did you do before NEAT?
WR : After leaving a lengthy corporate financial career, I have had the ability to foster my creativity within interior design and real estate at the beach. While still living in PA, I also volunteered at a local spin studio and even had a fun QVC on-air hair modeling role along the way!
NM : What makes your city unique?
WR : The Jersey Shore is filled with charming coastal towns with beautiful beaches offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. My particular town of Margate City, NJ is home to one of the most iconic National Historic landmarks - Lucy the Elephant which is a six-story elephant-shaped building built in 1881!
The coast offers so many recreational activities such as boating, fishing, and other water sports! It holds a lively nightlife scene including restaurants, bars, live music and beautiful sunsets views in the evenings. The cities along the coast hold a strong sense of community and are all known for their friendly and welcoming atmosphere!
NM : How long have you lived in your city?
WR : I have had the privilege of living in Margate City, NJ for seven years now after relocating from my hometown area of Chester County, PA. While I love the rolling hills of the Philadelphia suburbs, my move to the beach offered me an opportunity for a new and exciting chapter in my life and has ironically brought me back to my roots where I was born!
NM : What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
WR : Hands down - Steve & Cookies by the Bay which boosts creative seafood dishes, oysters, thai chile brussel sprouts, an ugly tomato salad, and their signature blueberry pie! For excellent sushi and a vibrant crowd, Tomatoes is the place! For cozy cafe options, I love Hannah G’s for omelets and Ventnor 7311 for small batch baking and specialty coffee. When traveling to Cape May, dinner at the Ebbitt Room located within the Virginia Hotel is a must!
NM : Sounds like we need to come for a visit! What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
WR : Being able to make a difference in my clients everyday life will be the most rewarding part of running NEAT at the Jersey Shore! I am also excited about being more connected in my community with both clients and other local business owners. It will be an amazing experience expanding the NEAT Method brand at the Jersey Shore!
NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
WR : I find joy in making people happy so my clients can expect a personalized service catered to their lifestyle and functional needs. Professionalism, creativity, and integrity will be the foundation of my business.
NM : What is your favorite organizing product?
WR : Labels, labels and more labels!!! Labeling plays a vital role in maintaining an organized and efficient environment, saving time, reducing unnecessary stress, and enhancing productivity. A place for everything, and everything in its labeled place!
NM : Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?
WR : I’ve been told that I possess a gift-wrapping prowess that could be described as an art form. When you receive a gift from me, you can expect a beautiful presentation because I want your unwrapping experience to be as delightful as the surprise inside!
Okay, now we need to see your gift wrap storage ;) Congratulations on launching Jersey Shore. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT!
xx
