New NEAT City | Monmouth County

Thursday, October 17, 2024

We want to welcome Lara Duffy of Monmouth County, New Jersey to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have her. Let’s find out more about what makes her so NEAT.

NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?

LD :  I believe merging my business with a NEAT Method franchise is the perfect partnership and Monmouth County is our home! I have wanted NEAT Method to come to this area for years now, and I’m thrilled to be the one to bring it here!

NM : What did you do before NEAT?

LD : I have a masters in pediatric nursing and spent my nursing career working in oncology. I left nursing to open my own professional organizing business 7 years ago and love the creativity and flexibility of this path. My nursing background has given me the framework to think systematically about helping individuals and families solve their organizing challenges. I also believe organization is a form of self care; nursing has given me the tools to offer my clients a holistic approach to organizing.

NM : What makes your city unique?

LD : Monmouth County, NJ, is renowned for its beautiful Jersey Shore beaches, including those in Asbury Park and Sandy Hook. The vibrant arts and music scene in Asbury Park is a major draw. The county features numerous parks and natural reserves. Affluent towns offer upscale living and excellent schools. Its proximity to New York City and Philadelphia makes it ideal for commuters.

NM : How long have you lived in your city?

LD : Since 2009.

NM : What are your favorite places to shop in your city?

LD : Ooh, I love to shop and Monmouth County has some great local boutiques! I frequent Sadie James in Fair Haven, Warm Shoppe in Spring Lake, Nest in Red Bank, Trademark in Little Silver, and the Grove in Shrewsbury has all the big name retail stores in one convenient and lovely outdoor shopping plaza

NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?

LD : Showing clients what makes NEAT the best; not just in its approach to home organizing but its beautiful line of products. Most of all, though, being a part of a larger organization that I have admired for so long!

NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?

LD : Clients can expect that I will listen to their needs and hopes for the spaces that they have asked me for help with with careful attention. They can expect that I will be discreet and respect their privacy. They can rest assured that I’m a professional with years of experience in this industry and I will work with them until they are completely satisfied.

NM : What is your favorite organizing product?

LD : I love turntables. They make tough areas accessible and I love that they spin ;)

NM : Definitely a game-changing product. Do you have any hidden talents that we should know about?

LD : I can drive any car with a stick shift and I’m pretty handy. I’ve installed my own lights and dimmers on a number of occasions.

Amazing. You might just have to come to our house next. Congratulations on launching Monmouth County. We’re so excited to have you join NEAT.

xx,
The NEAT Team
